About Us

We started The Silver Screen, Inc. in 2005. We believe in capturing the beauty of life's events in an artistic and cinematic documentary style.  Whether filming a wedding, birthday party or editing family footage, we enjoy creating a family movie that will be treasured for generations to come.

Our first project was a The Story of Us video for our own wedding in 2000.  It was a humorous short film that we showed right before our ceremony. 

We have filmed several award winning shorts, including  2004 & 2005 Hot Shops 1st place award winning dramas,  2006 & 2007 Fort Omaha Film Conference 1st & 2nd place awards in drama, and the national Sony and Videomaker Magazine          Best Drama Award in 2007 for Taken.  Taken was also an official selection at the 2007 Omaha Film Festival.
